MARTHA E. BUNCH ATTEBERY
---Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Attebery died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Gross, west of town, last Saturday, after an illness of several days.
---Funeral services were held at the La Plata Baptist Church Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Elder George Edwards and S.L. Pettus of Macon. Burial was made in the La Plata cemetery.
---Martha Elizabeth Sears was born February 6, 1848 and died January 30, 1926, being seventy-seven years, eleven months and twenty-four days old.
---She was married to Daniel H. Bunch in 1864; to this union were born three children, the oldest dying in infancy. The other two, Arthur Bunch of Denver, Colorado and Edward Bunch of Gould, Arkansas, survive her, both being present for the funeral. Mr. Bunch died in 1880. She was then married to J.B. Attebery in 1885. To this union was born one child, Lena B. Gross, with whom she was making her home.
---Besides the children mentioned, she leaves four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, Mrs. Ferdie Colman and Mrs. May Colman, both of near Callao and Clare Attebery of Los Angeles, California, and a host of friends to mourn their loss.
---She united with the Primitive Baptist Church at Little Zion in 1918.
