RICHFIELD - Ruth Z. Hommel, 82, a resident of the Zendt Home, Richfield and formerly of Kish Apartments, Lewistown, died at 1:40 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1, 1999, at the nursing home.
Born Jan. 17, 1917, in Mifflin County, she was a daughter of the late Calvin E. and Mary (Kostenbauder) Hommel.
She was a homemaker and member of the First United Methodist Church, Lewistown. She was the organist at the First Community Church of Maitland and was a Sunday school teacher.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Maitland Community Cemetery, with Karen McCachren officiating.
There will be a public viewing immediately prior to the graveside service.
