MOULTRIE Nancy Vetzel Barwick, 61, of Moultrie died Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 18, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Junior Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens.
Born March 26, 1945, in Hillsborough County, Fla., Mrs. Barwick was the daughter of the late Katherine Fewox Vetzel White and the late Sylvian Vetzel. She was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kendall Martin; and a daughter, Nioka Faye Moates.
Survivors include her husband, Donald M. Barwick Sr. of Moultrie; six sons, William James Kilpatrick Jr. and Donald Barwick Jr., both of Florida, Michael Kevin Barwick, Eric B. Barwick and Michael W. Barwick, all of Moultrie, and Alvin Whitson Martin Jr. of Georgia; four daughters, Amanda M. Allen of Moultrie, Delta Dawn Phillips of Alabama and Martha Lynn Barwick and Melissa Lynn Barwick, both of Florida; three brothers, Jimmy Fewox, Clarence White and Junior White, all of Florida; three sisters, Judy Graedel, Debra Moore and Susan Grantham, all of Florida; 31 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at the funeral home.
