Joe S. Copeland, 74, of Paducah died at 7:31 a.m. Saturday at his home.
Mr. Copeland was a retired farmer and a member of Ironworkers Local 103. He had served in the merchant marines.
Surviving are his wife, Naomi Joyce Copeland; his mother, Monet Barker Copeland of Possum Trot; two sons, Donnie Copeland and Johnny Copeland, both of Paducah; a daughter, Tammie Lamb of Paducah; a sister, Janet Copeland of Symsonia; 10 grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren.
His father was Jody Copeland.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Lindsey Funeral Home. The Revs. Jim Glover and Johnny Myers will officiate, and burial will be in Bolton Cemetery.
