Carl Bailey Alford ... 62, Rt. 1 Everett, died at his home early Dec. 1 following a brief illness. Mr. Alford was born March 23, 1904 in Fairfax, South Dakota and had lived in the Everett area for 44 years.A shoe repairman, he operated his own shop at 1212 1/2 Hewitt Ave., for the past 42 years. He was a member of the Shoe Repairman's Union.He leaves his widow, Ruth L. of Rt. 1 Lake Stevens; three [?] brothers, George of Libby, Montana, Ted of Everett, and two sisters, Mrs. Marguerite Mills and Mrs. Ruby Ingraham, both of Rt. 1 Everett.Arrangements will be announced from the funeral home of Purdy and Walters.
