Shirley Ann Reichel was born September 16, 1927 to parents Robert and Alma Reichel at Staples, MN. She attended District #6 country school through the 8th grade, then Staples High School, graduating in 1945. Shirley was employed in Staples for one year before moving to Fargo, ND in September 1947. She was employed at Central Livestock Association, West Fargo for eight years, then worked for Sig Ellingson & Co. Livestock firm as office manager for 6 years.
She married Herbert H. Paulson in June, 1952. Herbert died in September, 1993.
She is survived by her son, Kevin (Sharon), West Fargo; two grandchildren, Nathan (Jaime) Paulson and Melissa (Andy) Noreen; two brothers, Robert (Pat) Reichel, Dilworth, MN and Harvey (Jean) Reichel, St. Cloud, MN.
Visitation: Wednesday, May 27, 2009 from 5 to 7 in West Funeral Chapel, West Fargo, with a Rosary service at 5 and a prayer service at 7.
Funeral Service: Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 10:30 in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, West Fargo.
Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery, North, in Fargo.
