Services for Connie Mary Adkins, 83, Grapevine, formerly of Wills Point, were held at noon Monday, Sept. 11, at Herschel Lybrand Funeral Home Chapel, Wills Point, with Rev. Jack Ferris officiating.
Burial was in White Rose Cemetery.
Mrs. Adkins died Sept. 8, 2000, in Grapevine.
She was born July 1, 1917, in Edgewood to the late Monroe and Eva Margaret Miller Rohus. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Wills Point until 1975 when she moved to Grapevine.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Johnnie Adkins, in 1975.
Survivors include daughters, Margaret Nell Sims, Fort Smith, Ark., and Peggy Mary Jeanette Boyanton, Grapevine; sons, Harold "Buddy" Thomas Adkins, Carrollton, Ronald Leon Adkins, Tyler, and Donald Lavon Adkins, Kemp; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and one gread-great-grandchild.
