Alma D. Blunt,90, of Naylor died Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at her residence.
Mrs. Blunt was born Dec. 17, 1918, in Harviell. She was a homemaker and a memeber of the Fairdealing Apostloic Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, quilting and sewing.
On Jan. 8, 1939, she married Paul Blunt in Harviell. He preceeded her in death Feb. 20, 1976.
Survivors include her children, Vianna Wiley, and husband,Carl, of Naylor, Ben Blunt of Morgantown, KY., Loretta Raines and husband, Harold, of Springfeild, Sharron wilkerson and husband, Jackie, of Humboldt, Tenn., and son-in-law, calvin Conover; three sisters Dorothy Gatewood of Kansas City, Mildred Robertson of arnold, and Vera Jones of Poplar Bluff; eight grandchildren; and several great greatgrandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, George Everett Stout and Florence Bruce Stout; one daughter, Della Conover, one sister, Zelma Atwell; and four brothers, Odis Rideout, Aubert Stout, Leroy Stout, and Lloyd Stout.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 23, 2009 in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Carlton Johnson officiating and Rev. Arlin West assisting. Burial was in the Kinsey Cemetery in Harvill.
