Jacob & Lydia had thirteen children: Sarah Anne, Rebecca Anne, Mary Anne, John Daniel, Minerva Jane, Samuel Bistle, Phoebe Matilda, Lydia Caroline, Benjamin Wharton, Jacob Franklin, Elizabeth, Francis Marion, Olive.
Lydia died during childbirth of their daughter, Olive, in 1844 and was the first burial in the family cemetery that was created on the Cook's farm.
