ROOP, Frazier Eldridge, (Bud), 75, of Radford, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2001. He was a U.S. Army and Air Force veteran of WWII and retired from Federal Mogul.

He was preceded in death by his parents, C. F. and Willie Ethel Farmer Roop, a sister, Ethel Willie Roop Hair, and a nephew, Gerald G. Leslie.

Survivors include his wife, Beulah B. Roop of Radford; three daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce Ann and Wesley Combs of Shawsville, Patsy Lee and Gayle Adkins of Pulaski, and Nancy E. and Larry Brammer of Radford; one son, Frazier Lee Roop of Franklin, W.Va.; two stepdaughters and their husbands, Patricia Ann and Junior Carroll, and Shirley and Larry Parks, all of Radford; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Leona and Garnett Adkins, and Dorothy and C. W. Adkins, all of Christiansburg; four brothers and sisters-in-law, John Henry and Jill Roop of Roanoke, Bobby and Bernice Roop of Christiansburg, Joseph R. and Ruth Roop of Pilot, and Junice and Elizabeth Roop of Riner; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2001 at 11 a.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Albert Carroll, Jr. officiating.

Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin, where members of VFW Post #776 will conduct military graveside rites. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
