GEORGETOWN - Rene Dingle Turner, 82, died Thursday, Sept. 30, 1999, at Trident Medical Center.

She was born July 8, 1917, in Summerton, a daughter of the late Wallace Dickey Dingle and Frances Broadway Dingle.

She was the widow of Francis Gurdon Turner.

She lived most of her life in Georgetown and was a member of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two brothers, Dickey Dingle of Summerville, and Wilbur Dingle of Marion; six sisters, Mary Williamson of Snead Island, Fla., Maude Gulledge of Fernando Beach, Fla., Beth Evans of Sumter, Hattie Dangerfield of Moncks Corner, Bobbie Smith of Harrisburg, Pa., and Billie Spigner of Summerton; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Elmwood Cemetery.

Graham Funeral Home of Georgetown is in charge.

Memorials may be made to any charity.
