Agnes Moe was born in Carlos, Minn., on December 29, 1912, the daughter of John and Ann Maloney. She attended school and grew to womanhood in the Leaf Valley community where she was united in marriage to Mr. Alexander, four children were born to this union. Mr. Alexander preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to Myron Moe at Alexandria, Minnesota, which has since been her home.
She passed away at her home, January 5, 1971 at the age of 58 years. She is survived by her husband, Myron; three sons and one daughter; William Alexander of Redfield, SD; Gordon Alexander of Holmes City; Gary Alexander of Aurora, Colorado; Jeane (Mrs. John Garner) of Pierre, SD.; also surviving are five grandchildren; her mother, three stepchildren; five sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services were January 9, 1971 from St. Mary's Catholic Church at Alexandria with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Theo. J. Wrobel officiating. Interment was at St. Mary's cemetery at Alexandria. Pallbearers were Paul Duitscher, Robert Olson, Jerry Quast, Norm Quast, James Parker and Tony Olson.
