Lloyd Glasson, 87, died Thursday, January 13, 2005 at his home in Gorman.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2005 at the Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel with Craig Rhoton officiating. Burial was in the Simpson Cemetery.

Mr. Glasson was born March 7, 1917 in Rawls, TX to the late John L. Glasson and Martha (Whatley) Glasson. He married Bobbie O'Neal on August 15, 1940 in Gorman. She preceded him in death on Oct. 1, 1994. He was a retired rancher and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Lloyd Wayne Glasson and wife Mary Jo of Fate, TX and Glenn Glasson and wife Gloria of Brownfield; one daughter, Gena Rone and husband Ricky of Gorman; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Pauline Spears of Stephenville.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Big Country.
