Robert was a son of William Riley SAPP & Mary Ann E. Sikes.
Robert and Etta Jane had 9 children:

1. Talmadge Leroy Sapp, b. 02 Jan 1909 in Tattnall Co., GA; d. 13 Dec 1975 in Volusia Co., FL.

2. Tyra Sapp, b. 03 Aug 1911
