Mass of Christian Burial for Jeffrey Lee Hermes, 31, of Coppell was held Dec. 16, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Lindsay. Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery. He died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005, at his residence.
He was born to Clem and Wanda Hess Hermes.

Jeffrey was a graduate of Lindsay High School and earned a degree at the University of North Texas in 1996. Following his graduation, he continued his education while employed at H.D. Vest Financial Services. He received numerous financial planning certifications during his employment. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.

He loved his dog, Penny, and the outdoors, and was an avid golfer. He also enjoyed playing in a church basketball league with his brothers and close friends. Jeff loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his parents, of Lindsay; sister and brother-in-law of Denton; brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Edna Hess and Clem and Amelia Hermes; and an infant nephew.
