WENATCHEE - Guy T. Standerford, 88, a resident of Wenatchee for the past 50 years, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 1995, in Central Washington Hospital.
He was born May 31, 1906, to William and Mollie (Morrison) Standerford at Oxford, Ark., where he grew up and attended school.
He married Lena M. Johnson in 1927 at Oxford, where they made their home. They moved to Wenatchee in 1944, and Mr. Standerford worked for Wells and Wade Fruit Company. In 1952 he went to work in the maintenance department at the Chelan County Courthouse. He retired in 1971.
He married Vivian Campbell on Dec. 5, 1953, at Wenatchee.
Mr. Standerford is survived by two sons, Bill of Waterville, and Winifred of East Wenatchee; two stepsons, David Campbell and Frank Campbell, both of Seattle; four brothers, Joe of East Wenatchee, Noble of Springfield, Mo., and James Roby and Seldon, both of Wenatchee; a sister, Ella Blevins of Oxford, Ark.; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Vivian in 1989, two stepsons, a sister and a great-grandson.
