She was born August 9, 1935, in Xenia, the daughter of Luther and Ruth Sweeney Brown. She married Irvin Brown in 1952 in Auburn.
Mrs Brown retired as a certified nurse's aide from Lynncrest Manor in Auburn after 15 years.
Survivors husband, Irvin, two sons, Mike (wife Mary) Brown of Auburn and Irvin "Deano" (wife Shannon) Brown of Taylorville; daughter Shelia Garrison of Auburn; 11 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; four brothers, Dee (wife Betty) Brown of Butte, Mont., Walter (wife Lois) Brown of Irving, Eddie (wife Beatrice) Brown of Nokomis and Bill (wife Roberta) Brown of Kincaid; two sisters Claudene Brown of Springfield and Nadine Shelton of Columbia, Ky; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 11am Tuesday, Bramley Funeral Home, Auburn, the Revs Jeff Anselmi and Richard R Harre officiating. Burial Auburn cemetery.
