Wheeler-Eloise M. Wheeler was born Dec. 26, 1864 in Albion, Wis., and passed away Jan. 16, 1951, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ernest Darnell, in Cottage Grove, Ore. She had lived in the Silk Creek community, 4 miles west of Cottage Grove, for 63 years. Sister Wheeler loved the Lord and served Him faithfully many years. Though bedridden the last few years she did Ingathering by mail. By this method of writing letters she was able to turn in $260. Surviving are: two sons, two daughters, 15 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
