Cecelia Hendershot, 77, of Mansfield Township, died Friday, July 3, in her home.
She was a cook for the former Danley's Diner in Hackettstown, and was last employed as an assembler for Area Lighting of Hackettstown before retiring in 1983.
Born July 21, 1920 in Hackettstown, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Anna Reedell.
She was a member of the Vasa Park Association in Budd Lake, NJ.
Her husband, Raymond Hendershot died in 1983.
She is survived by a sister, Ester Richards of Hawley, PA; and two step-sons, Richard A. Hendershot of La Palma, Calif., and Donald M. Hendershot of Hackettstown; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St, Hackettstown. Call between 7 and 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Pequest Memorial Cemetery in Great Meadows, NJ.
The family requests memorials to the Karen Ann Quinlan Center of Hope, 99 Sparta Ave., Newton, NJ 07860.
