She worked in the linen department for Hackettstown Community Hospital.
Born Dec. 19, 1940, in Warren County, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Minnie Evans. She had lived in the Hackettstown area most of her life.
Mrs. Hendershot was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and the Blue Ridge American Legion Post 164 Auxiliary, both of Hackettstown.
Surviving are her husband, Donald Hendershot; two sons, Michael and Robert, both at home; a brother Donald Evans, Washington, NJ, and four sisters, Mrs. Betty Schroeder, Califon, NJ, Mrs. Polly Stuble, Annandale, NJ, Mrs. Louise Quick, Columbia, NJ, and Mrs. Shirley Quick, Belvidere, NJ.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Cochran Funeral Home, Hackettstown. Internment will be in Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows.
