Parents of Donald Dean Vanous
Helen D. Vanous, 90, a long-time Belleville resident, died Friday, Feb. 18, 2000, in Longwood, Fla.
Mrs. Vanous was a retired Belleville business woman and homemaker.
She was born June 11, 1909, in Rydal, the daughter of Alexander and Mabel Fulcomer Carpenter.
Mrs. Vanous was a member of Central Christian Church, Belleville.
She married Ernest Vanous on Feb. 22, 1931. He died June 23, 1991.
Survivors include a son, Donald Dean Vanous, Winter Springs, Fla.; a brother, Loyd Carpenter, Wichita; two sisters, Opal Whelchel and Vivian Moon, both of Mankato; three grandchildren and one great- grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 10 a. m. Wednesday at Central Christian Church, Belleville. Burial will be in Belleville Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bachelor-Fauklkner-Dart-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville.
