Daughter of Henry Lee Griffin & Mary Belle True. She was a bookkeeper in the General Mercantile business. Became ill in May of 1931, left her job in November 1932, and died in March 1933.

GRIFFIN -- Verna L Griffin, daughter of Henry L and Mary B Griffin, pioneer residents of Jackson county and late of 118 Laurel street, passed away in a local hospital at 12:55 p.m., March 24, following a serious illness of four months duration.
Miss Griffin was born on the Naylor place on Griffin creek, October 26, 1891, and has resided in and near Medford all her life except eight years spent in Portland in the employee(sic) of the Western Union and the last three years with the T. Jones store at Hornbrook.
She was a member of Olive Rebekah lodge of Medford and leaves a host of friends who will be saddened to hear of her passing.
Besides her parents, she leaves two sisters, Zoa and Juanita Griffin, both at home in Medford.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Conger chapel by Rev. Wm. J. Howell at 2:30 Monday. Interment in the Siskiyou memorial park.
