Abbie Ramage Alford, 91, died February 28, 2007, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel with burial in the Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Alford was a homemaker and a member of Alta Woods Baptist Church where she was involved with the W.M.U. and for many years enjoyed serving in the church nursery.
Survivors include: son, James W. Alford, Jr. and wife Lynn of Jackson; daughter, Glenda S. Vaughn of Jackson; grandchildren, Tonya Lotosky, Victor Alford, and John P. Vaughn, Sr.; great-grandchildren, Tanner Alford, Chase Alford, Zoe Vaughn, and Jack Vaughn, Jr.
Preceded in death by her husband, James Whitfield Alford, Sr.; and son, John Wesley Alford....
