Henry Julius (Dick) Dunavin, of Whitehall, Arkansas, died at the home of his daughter Mrs. Inez Bethel in Newport at 7:40pm Thrusday evening March 10 1955. Mr Dunavin was 72 years of age, and was born in Howell County Missouri, the son of Matthew B Dunavin & Mary Elizabeth Flowers on December 29, 1882. He lived at Jacksonport for several years before moving to Whitehall. He is survived by his wife Mrs Ivy Dunavin, one daughter Mrs. Inez Bethel, of Newport, one step-daughter Miss Ella Terry of California, one son, James O. Dunavin of Harrisburg, Arkansas, one step-son Virgil Terry of Newport, one brother Dan Dunavin of Koshkonong Missouri, and 10 grandchildren.
Bural will be at Robinson Cemetery near Newport Saturday at 2pm.
