Sunday, June 25, at 9:30 a. m. at his home on Montgomery street, occurred the death of Charles Ervin Dingman. Mr. Dingman had been ill for the past few months and death was due to Bright’s disease. He was 35 years of age and was a son of William Henry Dingman and Sarah Jane Quackenbush; he was born and had always lived in this community. Mr. Dingman is survived by his widow; his mother, Mrs. Henry Sart; three sisters, Mrs. Alfred Becker of Nelliston, Mrs. Howard E. Mott and Mrs. Glenn E. Merenees of Canajoharie, and two brothers, Lewis E. Dingman of Sharon Springs and Edward S. Dingman of McKinley. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock at the home. Rev. John Landry, pastor of the Methodist church, officiated.
