Hazel Mae Adams, 83, died Feb. 9, 2003, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
She was born Jan. 2, 1920, at Little River, the daughter of Glen and Fleeta Alice Simmons Kite. She attended schools at Little River. A longtime resident of Hutchinson, she had worked at the former Detroiter Mobile Homes. She was also a cashier and seamstress at Haskards Dry Cleaners and Saylors Cleaners.
She belonged to First Christian Church and AARP.
On Dec. 2, 1939, she married Marion H. Adams at Lyons. He died in 1961.
Survivors include: three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Adams; four brothers, Charles, Mike, Dwayne and Dwight; and two sisters, Vicky Miller and Mickey Helms.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in bean Cemetery, Little River, with the Rev. Dan Price presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to the First Christian Church or to Hospice House, both in care of the mortuary.
