Andrew Jackson Laster was the 6th son of Elias Laster and his wife, Mary War Nan JOHNSON Laster. According to family history, Andrew - or Jack as he was called - was a little on the wild side. He was known to have wandered around a little before settling down with his first wife, Lillie, whom he married in Feb of 1890 and divorced in Feb of 1893. He married Martha Nance second and had five (5) children - two who died young (Jasper and Dovie).
