Dr. Knight's Mother Dies
Ruth Knight, 80, formerly of 4832 N. Clinton St., died at 1:30 p.m. yesterday. She had resided in Fort Wayne most of her life. Surviving are a son, Dr. Lewis Knight, Fort Wayne; a daughter, Nancy Knight, Fort Wayne; and two brothers, Harry W. Tonkel Sr., Fort Wayne, and Bryan Tonkel, in Florida. Services will be at 10 a. m. Thursday in D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, where friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p. m. today. Burial will be in Bowers Cemetery. Preferred memorials are gifts to Forest Park United Methodist Church.
