The widow of J. Elmer Benton, she was born in Westmoreland County on Feb. 20, 1872, a daughter of John and Harriet Wolford.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Rupert of Worthington; a sister, Mrs. Homer Baker of Saltsburg; a niece, Mrs. D. Earl Weister of Salina.
Mrs. Benton was a member of Worthington Lutheran Church.
Friends will be received in the walker funeral home, Worthington, after 7 o'clock tonight. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Worthington Lutheran Church, Rev. James B. Slingluff, the pastor officiating.
Burial will be made in the Worthington Lutheran Cemetery.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Worthington Lutheran Church for Mrs. Sarah E. Benton of Worthington, who died last Saturday in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. The church pastor, Rev. James B. Slinghuff, officiated.
Burial was made in Worthington Lutheran Cemetery. The casket bearers were William Braun, Abraham Flick, William Hindman, Ralph Barnhart, Charles Flick and Paul Reed.
