United States Marine Corps Private First Class Keo was killed in combat in the Vietnam War. Daniel was a machine gunner with G Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 3 Marine Division and is honored on the Vietnam Memorial Wall 52E039.

Daniel joined the Marines Corps in August, 1967 and went to Vietnam in October, 1967. Daniel is a 1967 graduate of Bothell High School, Washington.

Daniel is survived by his father, Gabriel G. Keo of Honolulu; a sister, Mrs. Helen Peterson of Lake City; and eight other brothers and sister in Honolulu; Gabriel Jr., Henry, George, David, Charles, Ray, Annie and Mrs. Josephine Adkins. His mother is deceased.

Daniel was born in Honolulu and lived there until moving to Seattle and then to Bothell, Washington in 1965 where Daniel was a football letterman.
