Lina Wilhelmina Austin, 99, a resident of Heritage Nursing Home for many years, and formerly of Woodland Rd., died on Tues., Sept. 4, 1990 at Heritage Nursing Home.
Lina was born on Aug. 21, 1891 in Sheboygan County, the daughter of the late Herman and Wilhelmina (Wilgrube) Gartmann. She attended schools in the Town of Wilson.
In 1909 (??), she was united in marriage to William Neese in Sheboygan. They were subsequently divorced.
On Aug. 30, 1958, Lina and Adrian Austin were united in marriage in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death on June 27, 1988. Lina was a former member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Lina is survived by three daughters, Malinda Weber, Newton; Erma Rohde and Wilnora (Clarence) Raeder, both of Sheboygan; three sons, Donald Neese, Kenneth Neese and Glenn Neese, all of Sheboygan; 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Lina was preceded in death by one son, William in 1959 and 2 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Lina were held on Thurs., Sept. 6, 1 p.m. at Ramm-Ziegler-Novak-Rettke Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, 1535 S. 12th St. Rev. Herbert Stelter, pastor emeritus of Immanuel Lutheran, officiated. Burial was in Lutheran Cemetery.
