MUSCATINE, Iowa - James Brian Alloway, 50, Muscatine, died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2003, at Unity Hospital.

Pallbearers are Mark Kallenberger, Randy Kallenberger, Mike Alloway, Russell Alloway, and Tom Thompson. Burial will be at Columbus City Cemetery.

He was born April 24, 1953, in Muscatine, the son of Arthur Robert and Elizabeth Mae Welsch Alloway. He married Lori A. Lamb in October 1977 in Muscatine.

He worked at Prime Mover, Muscatine, until 1995.

He enjoyed bowling and building model cars.

Survivors include two sons, Russell and Michael, both of Muscatine; a daughter, Whitney Alloway of Bennett; two grandchildren, Austin and Noah Alloway; his mother and stepfather, Elizabeth and Donald Tietge of Muscatine; a sister, Shari and husband Ed Hicks of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; a nephew, Ryan Hicks of Arizona; a niece, Staci Stanton of Wapello; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father and paternal and maternal grandparents.
