Daughter of John Blue Jr., and his wife Elizabeth McNary. She married her first cousin Robert Blue October 8, 1833 in Sangamon County, Illinois. They were double first cousins; their father's were brothers and their mother's were sisters.
She died some time after the 1860 census. Her husband Robert married second Mrs Elizabeth J. Jackson December 25, 1867.
Martha and Robert Blue had the following children:

2. Eliza Jane
3. John L. Blue
4. Emily Frances Blue
5. Malinda Katherine "Kitty" Blue
6. Nancy Adeline Blue who married Hiram Anthony Hendrix.
