BASKIN (Special) — Fred M. Byrne, 64, died at his Baskin residence Saturday afternoon of a heart attack. He was a retired highway worker.
Services will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. from Baskin Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Johnson. Burial will be in Crowville Masonic Cemetery by Young's Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Besides his wife, Mr. Byrne is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ted Apps, Texarkana, Tex.; five sisters, Mrs. W. C. Honea, Monticello, Miss., Mrs. Stella Clibern, New Hebern [sic Hebron], Miss., Mrs. Hester Clibern, Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Walter Graves, Baton Rouge, Mrs. T. H. Beasley, Monticello, Miss.; a brother, R. O., Baton Rouge; a granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
C. W. Oney, Buddy Woods, Albert Wiggenton, Martin Bradley, Henry Regan, A. N. Boyett, H. L. Anderson and Willard Pippin will serve as pallbearers.
