Gary Low, 28, a former Cashmere resident, and his children, Brenda 2, and Christopher 3, died in Salem, Tuesday January 27, as the result of a fire in their home,
Gary Low was born April 11, 1943, in Wenatchee and was raised in Cashmere. He graduated from Cashmere High school in 1961 and attended the University of Washington before serving in Germany with the U.S. Air Fonrce.
He married Stephanie Weist in February of 1964, and graduated from Western Washington State college In Bellingham is 1968.
Mr. Low was employed tax auditor for state of Oregon.
He was member of the Toastmasters and the Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, two children, Michael, Melanie, his mother, Mrs. Glen Garvey, Anacortes; his father, Ralph Low, Cashmere; a brother, Jim Low, Everson; one sister, Donna Heinrich, Centralia; three half brothers , Richard, Patrick and Jeffrey Gravey, and his grandfather, Alva Low, Spokane.
Christopher Low was born in Bellingham on September 13, 1968, and his sister, Brenda, was born in Salem, Ore., November 19, 1969. They leave their by grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Weist of Cashmere.
Funeral services for Gary Low, Christopher and Brenda Low will be held February 4, at 1:30 the Braun Funeral Chapel. Ed Toevs will officiate. Interment will be in the Cashmere Cemetery. Braun Funeral Home, Cashmere was in charge of arrangements.
