On February 22, 1903, Robert married Osa Merinda Wells in Tinney Grove, Missouri. In 1910 they were living in O'Neal, California where Robert was employed by the railroad.
His draft registration in 1918 shows he was living in Orrick, Missouri operating a restaurant.
In 1930 they were back in Salina where Bob operated a filling station. They later lived in Jordan, Montana.
His wife, Osa, preceded him in death in 1965 in Jordan. Survivors included a son, Robert Andrew Wilson Jr.; a daughter, Maxine (Wilson) Cathcart; and several grandchildren.
He is buried at Pioneer Cemetery in Jordan, Montana.
Robert Wilson, 86 JORDAN Robert A. Wilson, 86, former resident of Jordan, died Thursday at the home of his son, Robert A. Wilson Jr., of Chicago, 111. He was born March 31, 1880, in Missouri. He attended schools and married Osa Wells Feb. 22, 1903 in Missouri. They lived in Missouri and then moved to Jordan in 1950. Mr. Wilson lived in Jordan until his wife's death in 1965 when he moved to Chicago to make his home with his son. Surviving besides his son is a daughter, Mrs. Maxine Rich ards, Spokane, Wash., and a brother, Chet, of Jordan. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Community Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Charles Strawn officiat'ng. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery.
