Gladys Loretta Lessley, 93, beloved wife of Walter Lessley, passed away Tuesday while in the Mennonite Home.
Gladys was born in Taylorsville, Alberta, Canada, the fifth child to Lester and Vicki Albiston.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Lessley; daughter Marilyn and husband Fred Reagh of Saratoga Springs, Utah; son Dexter and wife Norma Sloan of Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada; sisters Lola Archibald of Cardston, Alberta, Canada, and Beulah Lay of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; 10 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was loved by all who knew her, especially her family, and will be missed.
Viewing will begin at 1 p.m. today at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland at a later date.
