Mr. William Lorrelle "Pat" Abbott, age 86, of Heber Springs passed away June 4, 2009 at Baptist Health Care. Born September 9, 1922, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Leona Evelyn Sifford Abbott and Harry Eli Abbott. He was a self-employed auto mechanic by trade and a World War II Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Belle Brown Abbott, whom he married in 1948; a son, Michael Wayne Abbott of Sulphur, TX; two daughters, Jennifer Diane Abbott-Jenkins of Heber Springs, AR and Peggy Dawn Abbott-Hardie of Rosebud, AR; one brother, Dowell Abbott of St. Louis, MO; four grandchildren, Christopher Hardie, Brandy Jenkins-Decker, Scott Jenkins and Heath Abbott; one great-grandchild, Alex Jenkins and many friends.
