Arthur R. Adamson
Arthur Rabor ANDERSON, 76, R.R. 5, Rochester, died Thursday at 5:15 p.m. in the Miller nursing home here after an extended illness. He had been a patient at the nursing home since Sept. 12, and was seriously ill the past month.
He resided on the Tippecanoe river in Richland township.
Born Dec. 1, 1887, at Rochester, he was the son of Homer and Isabelle JEWELL ADAMSON. A retired cook and veteran of World War I, Mr. Adamson came here from Detroit, where he had lived 38 years. He was a member of the Rochester E.U.B. church and the Leroy Shelton Post of American Legion.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Emerson (Ruth) FELDER, Fulton; two brothers, Clarence and Roy [ADAMSON], both of Rochester and several nieces and nephews.
Last rites will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home with the Rev. William SIMPSON officiating, assisted by the American Legion. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
