Family Tribute
Louise Anne Haase Dukes
1948-2009
Louise lost her courageous battle with kidney cancer May 31, 2009. She was born October 11, 1948, the daughter of Bill and Kadah Haase. She grew up in Fresno, Ca and graduated from Roosevelt High in 1966. She resided in Springfield, Oregon, for the past 25 years, where she worked as an organist at Papa's Pizza for 10 years and in distribution for The Register-Guard for 15 years.
Her kidney cancer was discovered in early 2006 and advanced quickly to Stage 5. Even though she was just given a few months to live in the beginning, she has survived brain surgeries, radiation and medication with the amazing care from her sister, Linda. No one could have done it better. She kept her smile, the twinkle in her eye and her love of music to the last.
Her mother, Kadah Haase, passed away in 2005. She is survived by her father, Allen Haase; her sisters, Linda Beaird, Brenda Dupre and Gaylene Allen; her children Stacy and Angelica Dukes, James Dukes, and Danny Dukes; her granddaughter, Natasha Dukes and fiance, Richard; her great grandson, Aaron; her nieces and nephews, Matthew, Sarah, Molly, Melanie, Mike, Bo, Christie, Eddie, Jacob, Daisy, Austin, Zyan, Nevaeh, Brianna, Eli; and Kim, Jon, Leo & Mike of California; and Aunt Lynette Hibler; and numerous cousins and friends.
We want to thank the wonderful doctors and staff at RiverBend & PeaceHealth, the family and friends who have all prayed and been so supportive.
