OBITUARY DATED 1-12-1967 IN THE READING EAGLE

Herbert W. Fair, 67, of 1334 Buttonwood St., died yesterday in the Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since Christmas Day.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Clifford N. and A. Lucinda (Hagen) Fair. Before retiring five years ago, Fair had been owner-operator of the Gulf Sevice Station at 429 N. 13th St., for 15 years.

He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the Friendship Fire Co.

He is survived by his widow Edna M. (Kreisher) Fair; three daughters: Caroline C. wife of Kenneth P. Kline, Temple: Iva E. wife of Lee E. McCullough. Reading, and Mae B., wife of James Wiegan, Wiccoppe, NY; Theree sons, Herbert W. Jr., Five Points, Reading R. D.4, James F. and Carl M. Kreisher, both of Reading, and 19 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Lutz Funeral Home, the Rev. Samuel L. Koons officiating. Burial will be made in the Charles Evans Cemetery.

Herbert's first wife Kathryn Hurst is the mother of Herbert Jr., Caroline, Iva E., James, Caroline and Mae.
