Earl Brown, 88, of Springfield died at 10:45 a.m. Friday at Clarkston Court.
He was born Jan. 11, 1904, in Lowder, the son of William L. and Minnie E. Mann Brown. He married Louise Frantz in 1926. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, Everett and Howard.
Mr. Brown was employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Detroit, Mich., for 35 years until retiring. He was later employed by the First National Bank of Springfield.
He was a member of Central Baptist Church, Springfield Lodge 4, AF&AM, and a lifetime member of William F. Perrett Lodge 524, AF&AM, in Michigan.
