Mrs. Emma G. Messinger, 74, wife of S. Jacob Messinger, Silver Run, Md., died this morning at 4:20 o'clock at the Warner Hospital where she had been a patient since last Saturday. Previously she had been a patient for two weeks.
She was born in Carroll County, Md., a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Ellen(Zepp) Wentz. The deceased was a member of St. Mary's Lutheran Church, Silver Run; the Willing Workers Sunday School Class and the Myers Homemakers Club of Silver Run.
Surviving are her husband; five children Mrs. Geroge Helwig, Mrs Sterling Crowl and Mrs Ward Bolinger, all of Hanover; Delvin S.J., Littlestown and Mrs. Alfred Shellenberger, York; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one sister Mrs. Mattie N. Flickinger, Littlestown.
Funeral services Friday at 2 p.m. at the Little Funeral Home, Littlestown, conducted by Rev. Roland A Ries, supply pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, Littlestown. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
