She worked for M/A-Com Inc., in Quality Control for 25 years, until her retirement.
She was a secretary for a local chapter of the AARP. She enjoyed country music, traveling, and reviewing family photos with her nephew, James Roddy.
She is survived by a son, John F. Callahan and his domestic partner, Bradley C. Rader of Los Angeles, Calif.; a granddaughter, Lisa Callahan of Taunton; a sister, Isabelle and her husband, John McGonnigle, of Chelmsford; six brothers, Albert Sousa of Sanford, Maine, Anthony Sousa of Chelmsford, Alfred Sousa of Billerica, John and his wife, Penny Sousa of Chelmsford, Michael and his wife, Ann Sousa of Chelmsford, James and his wife, Ruth Sousa of Chelmsford; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was also the longtime companion of the late George Ouellette, and sister of the late Mary Roddy, Manuel Sousa, Clarice Sousa, and Angeline Sousa.
