Jerry was born Aug. 18, 1944, in Muscatine the son of Oddie W. and Velma H. (McKillip) Truesdale.
He was a U.S. Army veteran for two years. He was employed by Wolverine, Ameri-Corporation, Letica and Fairport Marina.
He was a member of the Muscatine Power Boat Club, worked on small engines, built holiday displays and loved to tinker. He will be deeply missed by his mother, Velma, of Muscatine; one brother, Virgil, of Muscatine; two sisters, Janet Hipshur and her husband, Wally, of Muscatine and Barbara Ash and her husband, James, of Muscatine; many nephews and one niece.
He was preceded in death by his father; maternal and paternal grandparents.
