Clarence "Clancy" McKillip 54, died suddenly Thursday at Muscatine General Hospital.
Pallbearers will be Patrick, Brian, Jody, Eric and Corey McKillip, Robert Thompson and Carl Laymon. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

He was born Oct. 4, 1935 in Muscatine, a son of John and Helena Friese McKillip. He married Twila Leah Taylor Dec. 20, 1956 in Muscatine.
He was active in local volunteer work with the food pantry and the share program.
He was employed at Thatcher Plastic as a maintenance mechanic for nearly 20 years prior to his retirement in 1986.
He has five sons, Patrick, Brian, Jody, Eric and Corey McKillip, all of Muscatine; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Stephanine) Thompson, of Plainwell, Mich.; and Heather McKillip of Muscatine; three grandchildren; two brothers, Clifford "Bud" Chester and John, all of Muscatine; four sisters, Mrs. Odie (Velma) Truesdale, of Fairport; Mrs. Ralph (Anna) Morgan of Muscatine; Mrs. Melvin (Ester) Hanson of Wilton; and Mrs. Lee (Bernice) Stalkfleet, of West Liberty.
He was preceded in death by his wife on Sept. 26, 1986 and one brother.
