Mrs. Berton Achenbach of Lodge Grass died after a brief illness on November 20th from pneumonia following influenza. She was a popular young woman with a large circle of friends and she had a wholesome, cheery disposition that will cause her to be greatly missed. Mr. Achenbach was down with influenza at the time of her death, but is slowly recovering now. The body was taken to Sheridan for interment. The funeral services were held at Lodge Grass at the residence and were conducted by Rev. W. A. Petzoldt.
