He was born Aug. 12, 1926, in Cannon County, Tenn., the son of William and Emma Delong Fleming. On Jan. 4, 1947, he married Jessie M. Judkins in Rossville, Ga.
A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he retired from Conrail Railroad in 1988 after 39 years of service. He was a member of Faith Pentecostal Chapel in Monticello.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie M. Fleming, Royal Center; daughter, Brenda Lilley and husband James, Lafayette; son, Jesse E. Fleming, Medina, Ohio; daughter, Jane Worman and husband Ken, Logansport; daughter, Lisa Fleming, Logansport; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Daniel and Robert Fleming; a daughter-in-law, Alicia Fleming; and one granddaughter, Danielle Fleming.
Pastor Joseph D. Wampler will officiate. Burial will be in Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville with full military graveside rites.
