Wm. Reinhardt was born in Germany 69 years ago and came to this country when he reached manhood. He has been a resident of Clayton County over 40 years, farming in various parts, settling down in West McGregor a few years ago, when he bought the late V. R. Miller's home.
He was the father of ten children. His second wife, who is the mother of three children, survives him.
Mr. Reinhardt's health has been such the past years that he seemed brooding under a nervous strain, and several times had attempted self destruction, succeeding last Saturday evening in taking a dose of strychnine which ended his life. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon, with burial in the cemetery at Clayton Center, beside his first wife.
