Maggie Emogene Smith, 92, died of natural causes at home in Yuma. Maggie was born on February 11, 1917 in Childress, Texas. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Yuma. Maggie is survived by her children, Barbara (Don) Clark of Texas, Earl (Ruth) Smith of Buckeye, Arizona, Mary Francis Smith of Yuma, and Richard (Judy) Smith of Yuma; 13 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 18 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleaver Smith; her parents; and her siblings. Visitation will be at Funeraria Del Angel on Monday, May 18, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Service will follow at Funeraria Del Angel from 11 a.m. to noon. Final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Jim Turner officiating. Donations may be made to Hospice of Yuma.
